ShowOff

Backing tracks, eight lanes of them, playing through the pedal alongside everything else it is doing.

OctaStomp

Eight samples under your feet, fired by footswitch or MIDI. The bank shows up on the pedal's own screen, so you can read it standing up.

EvilTwin

FootLoose

A MIDI foot controller with DIN out. The pedal is drawn on screen and clickable, so you can check a mapping without kneeling down.

What it does to your pedal

You are about to install this on something you gig with, so:

Your firmware is not touched

HackRush installs into the pedal's own storage, beside everything else. Nothing is patched and nothing is replaced. One button on the flasher page puts the pedal back to stock.

Installing erases your presets

Either way in writes fresh storage, and your rigs and presets live there. Back them up off the pedal first - once it is running, updates leave everything alone.

Updates are signed, and a bad one backs itself out

The pedal checks an update against a key built into it and refuses anything that does not match. If a new build then fails to come up, it puts the old one back without being asked.

It is a beta

One person wrote it and one pedal has tested it. It is careful about the ways it could brick a Prime, which is not a promise that it cannot. Don't make its first outing a paid gig.

Install

Two ways in.

From your browser

Nothing to install, no terminal. On the pedal go to Global Settings → (⋯) more actions → firmware update, plug in the cable, and open the flasher. The screen sits on POWERING OFF… for a while on the way there - that is the transition, not a hang.
From a terminal, with fastboot

The same image, without the browser - and the way in if you use Firefox or Safari, neither of which has WebUSB. Put the pedal into fastboot as above, then take the installer image and:

Once it is running, updates come from the pedal itself: open the launcher at :81, then Settings → Update. No cable, no laptop.
